Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TokiClip ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website at TokiClip.com and the free TikTok tools we provide. We have written it in plain English on purpose — privacy policies should be readable by humans, not just by lawyers.

TokiClip is built around a single, non-negotiable promise: we do not store the TikTok links you submit, the files we proxy on your behalf, the captions and usernames you generate, or any personal data we are not legally required to retain. Most of our tools — including the font generator, hashtag generator, engagement calculator, money calculator, QR code generator and followers generator — process everything directly in your browser, which means your input never even reaches our servers. By using TokiClip you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

The shortest privacy policy is the one for data we never collect. Here is what TokiClip never stores, never logs and never sells:

• The TikTok URLs you paste — they are processed in real time and discarded the moment your file is delivered. There is no "download history" tied to you.
• The videos, photos, audio files and stories we proxy for you — we do not retain a copy on our servers after delivery, ever.
• The text you type into our generators — captions, hashtags, usernames, comments, video titles and font styling all stay on your device.
• Your TikTok account credentials — we never ask for them. There is nothing to log into on TokiClip.
• Your name, email, phone number or address — TokiClip has no sign-up, so we have no profile to attach those things to.
• Payment information — every tool is free, so there is no checkout and no card data ever touches our infrastructure.
• Cross-site behavioural profiles — we don't fingerprint your browser to follow you around the web.

If a tool can be built without a server round-trip, that is how we build it. If a tool needs the server, the data is held only for the milliseconds it takes to fulfil your request and then released.

To operate a free public website at scale we do collect a small amount of operational, anonymous data. None of it identifies you personally and none of it is sold or shared with advertisers.

• Anonymous server logs. Like every other website on the internet, our servers record basic technical information for each request — IP address, user agent string, timestamp and the URL accessed. These logs are rotated and permanently deleted on a short cycle (typically 7–30 days). They exist only for security, abuse prevention and uptime debugging.
• Aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics. We count anonymous page views and tool usage so we know which features creators actually need. These metrics are aggregated — we see "today, 12,000 people generated captions", not "this specific person generated this specific caption".
• Error reports. When something breaks, our servers log the error so we can fix it. These reports never include the content of your input — just the type of failure and the affected endpoint.

We never combine these signals to build a profile of you, and we never sell, rent or share them with data brokers, advertisers or any other third party.

TokiClip does not set first-party tracking cookies. We use a tiny amount of functional browser storage purely to make the site work the way you expect it to. Specifically:

• Theme preference. A single value in localStorage remembers whether you chose light or dark mode so the site doesn't flicker every time you reload.
• Tool form state. Some generators temporarily hold form values in memory so the "Regenerate" button works. This is wiped when you close the tab.

No cookie or storage value we set contains personal data, and none of it is transmitted to third parties. Some embedded third-party content (such as Google AdSense, when ads are enabled on a given page) may set its own cookies controlled by the respective vendor under their own privacy policies. You can review and clear all cookies for our domain at any time from your browser's settings.

To deliver our tools we rely on a small number of trusted third-party services. We have selected each one because it has a strong privacy record and a clear data-handling policy. We never sell or share data with anyone outside this list:

• Hosting & CDN. Our website and content are served through reputable hosting and content-delivery providers that handle the technical infrastructure. They process IP addresses purely to route requests and never receive your input data.
• Advertising (where shown). Pages that carry ads use Google AdSense. Ad personalisation is governed by Google's own policy — you can opt out at adssettings.google.com.

Because TokiClip does not maintain user accounts and does not collect personally identifiable information, most data-subject requests do not apply in the traditional sense — there is simply no profile of you for us to access, correct or delete. That said, you have the following rights at all times:

• Right to know. You can ask what categories of data, if any, are associated with your IP address in our short-lived server logs.
• Right to deletion. You can request that we accelerate the deletion of any log entry that may contain your IP address.
• Right to opt out of "sale". We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, but the option is yours.
• Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any privacy right will never affect the quality, speed or cost of any TokiClip tool — every feature stays free for everyone.

TokiClip is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant minimum age). Because we do not require sign-up and do not maintain user accounts, there is no mechanism by which a child could create a profile or share identifying information with us. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has somehow provided personal information through TokiClip, please contact us at info@tokiclip.com and we will promptly remove any such information from our short-lived logs.

Updates to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our tools, infrastructure or applicable laws change. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for material changes, post a clear notice on the homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of TokiClip after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
